Compare ENO SingleNest and DoubleNest hammocks by weight, space, and solo vs. shared use. Find your perfect fit for any adventure.
Quick answer
Choose the SingleNest for lightweight solo trips and the DoubleNest for roomier lounging or sharing with a partner.
Weight and pack size matter on the trail
The SingleNest is designed for one person and packs down smaller and lighter, making it a natural fit for backpackers or day hikers who count every ounce. The DoubleNest is heavier and bulkier but still portable enough for car camping or short carries to a local park.
If you hike deep into the backcountry, the SingleNest saves weight without sacrificing comfort. If you drive or walk a short distance, the DoubleNest's extra fabric is a fair trade for more room.
Shared vs. solo use changes everything
The DoubleNest is wide enough for two people to sit side by side or lounge together, while the SingleNest is built for one. If you often camp with a partner or want the option to share, the DoubleNest is the clear choice. Solo adventurers who prefer a snug cocoon will appreciate the SingleNest's tailored fit.
Neither hammock comes with suspension straps, so you will need to add those separately regardless of which size you pick.
